 Wachau Tour (full day)

The Danube Valley from Melk to Krems is called Wachau and considered World Cultural Heritage. We are not surprised about that. Discover with your private guide a European highlight. Enjoy the grand baroque monasteries, medieval castles and charming wine growing villages.

 Burgenland (full day)

The land of the sun it is called. 300 sunny days a year provide perfect conditions for excellent red wines. They grow around one of Europe´s largest lakes which is considered UNESCO World Cultural Heritage as it is home to many almost extinct bird species. A visit of Burgenland´s capital Eisenstadt is also worth a visit since it was the home of the wealthy Esterhazy dynasty and the home town of the famous composer Josef Hayn.

Suggested route:

Eisenstadt - Esterhazy Palace - Haydn House - Rust - Mörbisch (boat ride on lake Neusiedl) - visit of a winery.


 


 

 Mauthausen Camp (full day) 

Mauthausen was Austrias largest concentration camp. It was initially used as a work camp where many of the prisoners were worked to death. Face Austria´s darkest years of history with inside explanations of a professional guide. 


 

Suggested route:

Autobahn A1 to Mauthausen - visit of the stone quarry with the Stairs of Death - visitor center with film presentation of survivors - memorials - visit of the museum (huts, gas chambers, crematory, ...).
