Private Tours was founded in 2002 by Erich Kammerleithner.

I provide professional guide & limousine service in and around Austria.

I am a native Austrian from the Salzkammergut - lake district (where the Sound of Music was filmed). I have  always been interested in different cultures and languages (I am fluent in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese) and spent several years in England, Italy, Malta, USA, Mexico and  Brazil. During this time I could gain a lot of experience in tourism. In 1992 I finally moved to Vienna giving tours to groups and individual visitors in the palace of Schönbrunn. Since I have always wanted to open my own business I attended courses of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce to get the license for guide & limousine service. This enables me to be very flexible providing 2 services:
